He currently serves as General Partner at AYANA Capital, where he has deployed $48M across 27 companies, achieving multiple exits, and as a consultant to the World Bank, advising on a $100M early-stage investment program for Georgia.
Previously, Angel was VP of Global Partnerships & M&A at BYJU’S, where he led the $100M acquisition of GeoGebra and closed strategic alliances with Meta, Amazon, and Intel. As SVP of Corporate Development & M&A at HALO Dx, he raised $110M+ and secured partnerships that drove a 10x valuation increase. He also managed a $100M equity investment vehicle at OYO, and as CEO of AI startup Centroida, scaled operations internationally and led its successful acquisition.
Angel began his career in technology investment banking at Lehman Brothers and U.S. Advisors, later holding senior M\&A roles at EY and Entrea Capital. A Harvard MPA and Stanford Economics graduate, he is passionate about fostering innovation ecosystems and supporting high-impact entrepreneurs worldwide.
