Asif started out as a Chartered Accountant (ACCA and ICAEW) with 4+ years in Big 4 firms (EY and Deloitte) dealing financial, manufacturing and service sector clients.He spent the next decade within public listed (Agthia Group) and private conglomerate (GMG Group) corporates based out of UAE and operating all over MENA region.
Asif focuses on fact-based decision-making while retaining the edge to dive deep into data sets and execution details with operations and commercial teams. He eliminates bottlenecks by optimizing processes, workflows and systems while coaching, mentoring and training professionals to enhance working culture and elevate human resource capabilities.
Recently, he spearheaded the launch of financial transformation services in a UAE based management consulting firm Lever Bridge and is now in the process of setting up a separate entity called FinFICS to further this vertical’s business objectives.
Asif lives in Dubai, UAE since 10+ years with his family, loves Karak tea and tries to remain active through long morning walks. He can be reached for collaboration on value creation projects in the fractional CFO, financial transformation and data analytics space.
