Aymeric Teulon is a seasoned finance and climate strategy expert with over 20 years of experience in capital markets, project finance, and risk management.

As Vice President of Portfolio Risk Management at Deutsche Bank, he led key regulatory and de-risking initiatives, including the implementation of Basel III requirements. His work contributed to strengthening the bank’s capital position, notably through the successful de-risking of over €50 billion in exposure.

Previously, as Chief Operating Officer of the bank’s Infrastructure and Energy Financing division, Aymeric oversaw a €15 billion portfolio, driving operational and financial performance across complex energy and infrastructure transactions.

Aymeric is a founding partner at ORI, a boutique advisory firm at the intersection of climate finance and development. He advises governments, DFIs, and private actors on monetizing carbon assets and scaling high-integrity climate projects across the energy value chain. His work includes structuring Article 6 transactions under the Paris Agreement, designing carbon financing frameworks, and supporting NDC implementation strategies.

In 2024, Aymeric was appointed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the African Legal Support Fund to co-author the climate finance section of the Understanding Power Project Financing Handbook, a reference publication supporting Least Developed Countries (LDCs) in negotiating and structuring power sector investments.
