Baber Sheikh is a strategy, operations, and transactions advisor with expertise in mergers & acquisitions, multi-stakeholder transformation programs, and in corporate finance. He supports both corporate and private equity clients and his experience spans multiple industries including energy, healthcare, industrials, and technology.
As a strategy consultant with EY-Parthenon, Baber advised clients on M&A strategy & operational execution, focusing on post-merger integration (PMI), synergy programs, carve-outs/divestitures, TSA management, and operational due diligence. He led the execution of transformation programs and M&A engagements across the full deal lifecycle: from due diligence and Day 1 readiness to value creation. Baber also led EY-P’s ‘Synergy Management Program’, an initiative to develop a comprehensive playbook and toolset to enable accelerated M&A synergy identification and capture. During his tenure as an investment banker with Citi, UBS, and Raymond James, Baber managed the origination and execution of numerous M&A transactions, public and private capital access, and strategic advisory assignments. He advised dozens of management teams and worked on over $12 billion of M&A transactions and $70 billion of debt & equity offerings.
With experience in both Management Consulting and Investment Banking, Baber brings a unique strategic and operational perspective to his clients’ challenges. He is an effective communicator with extensive experience guiding diverse teams and presenting to C-level leaders and Boards.
Baber resides in Houston, TX with his wife and two young boys (ages 7 and 5). He is happy to collaborate on projects involving full-cycle transaction/M&A support, transformation programs, financial planning & analysis, and performance improvement.
