Deb Mathews is an experienced and dynamic Executive Medical Affairs Leader within both the small start-up Biotech and large Pharma sector. She has demonstrated exceptional skill in shaping and leading global medical strategies across vast therapeutic portfolios, whilst bridging scientific development with commercialization. She has proven expertise in Global Medical Affairs (25+ yrs), R&D Clinical Development Support (15+ yrs) and Medical Communications / Strategic Scientific Consulting (15+ yrs) along with 8 years of clinical experience as an Oncology Clinical Trial Pharmacist and HIV/AIDS Clinical Pharmacy Drug Assistance Program Manager.

Having served as VP, Global Medical Affairs for small biotech start-ups, interim Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and key member of executive leadership in pharma, she has extensive experience in ground-up department build, scaling department aligned to corporate growth, global KOL and regulatory engagement, and optimized global launch strategies.
