Dot spent 30 years in public accounting, the last 16 of which were as a tax partner at EY in Chicago. In addition to serving clients, Dot’s responsibilities at EY included leading various regional and Americas-wide learning and development functions, and resource deployment strategy and operations; leading a regional tax sub-service line; mentoring partners who were selected for broader leadership roles; and collaborating with, presenting to, and facilitating broad dialog with EY clients on global talent strategy, especially around successful integration of diverse perspectives.Since her retirement at age 53 from EY in 2016, Dot has been working as a credentialed leadership development facilitator and executive and team coach.
Dot draws heavily from Emotional Intelligence frameworks and mindfulness in her work, and is a certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction teacher as well. She lives in Saugatuck, MI with her husband of 40 years and enjoys spending time with her three adult children and six grandchildren.
Dot is a passionate volunteer and foster for shelter dogs through Harbor Humane Society in Ottawa County, Michigan.
