Frank von Thun is an independent principal consultant and founder of VTC Group, a management consultancy focused on operational excellence, supply chain transformation, and large-scale performance improvement programs. He has over 20 years of experience working with global organizations across Europe, the US, and APAC, supporting senior leadership teams from strategy through execution.
Frank previously held senior roles at EY, REL Consultancy (The Hackett Group), Celerant Consulting (now Hitachi Consulting), and PwC. His work spans operational turnarounds, productivity improvement, working capital optimization, and complex transformation programs across manufacturing, consumer goods, and industrial sectors.
He typically acts as lead advisor and integrator on multi-workstream engagements and assembles bespoke teams of senior independent consultants as needed to scale delivery while maintaining hands-on senior accountability.
Frank is based internationally and has lived and worked extensively in Asia. He speaks English, German, and Hungarian fluently.
