Hussain Rahim is the founder of Knightwood, specialising in finance leadership, AI‑enabled transformation, and board‑grade strategic support. A former Big 4 senior leader with a decade at EY, he led complex public‑sector and charity transformations, guided executive teams through regulatory and financial change, and built high‑impact operating models across multiple jurisdictions.
Prior to EY, Hussain was in the Civil Service for 10 years, working in various government departments such as the Ministry of Defence, the Royal Army, the Office of Fair Trading, HM Prison Service and the Ministry of Justice. Across more than 20 years, Hussain has evolved from technical accounting to being a trusted advisor to boards, mission-driven organisations, and high-growth enterprises. His work blends rigorous financial governance with modern digital capabilities, helping organisations strengthen resilience, unlock strategic clarity, and embed purpose at the center of decision-making.
