Jill is the Founder and Principal Consultant at Rhizome Strategy Ltd, who provide specialist consultancy services to accelerate a firm’s sustainability journey. She works across sustainability strategy and its implementation, and ESG accountability, including leadership, governance, disclosures and reporting. Her focus is on mitigation of ESG risk and long-term competitive advantage, always mindful of how sustainability initiatives can increase revenues, reduce costs and be an effective way to create resilience.
Jill brings both senior business experience and direct knowledge of designing and implementing sustainability strategies. Her approach is pragmatic and action-oriented, focusing on practical implementation and proven behaviour change methodologies. She has worked with growth businesses for two decades in Private Equity (HgCapital), strategy consulting (LEK), and marketing (GlaxoSmithKline). She has an MBA with Distinction from Kellogg.
In ESG/Sustainability, she draws on her executive experience as Director of Sustainability at L.E.K. Consulting supported by her qualifications from the IRFS: FSA Credential, Oxford Saïd Business School: Leading Sustainable Corporations, and Wharton University of Pennsylvania: Business Strategies for Social Impact.
