Jonathan Longabaugh is a strategic finance and transformation executive with over 20 years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives in financial services and corporate finance across the U.S. and U.K. His work spans regulatory remediation, entity and location expansion, M&A support, and large-scale change delivery in complex, highly regulated environments.
At Barclays, he led global programs to address regulatory findings, scale new business models, and redesign operating structures to support growth and compliance. His experience includes leading a $175M remediation program to strengthen adherence to laws and regulations, revitalizing a point-of-sale lending product, establishing a licensed Third Country Branch in France post-Brexit, and managing end-to-end regulatory exams, including successful resolution of MRIA and MRA findings in the U.S.
Now based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jon advises clients on executing with speed and clarity, whether launching products, navigating regulatory change, or scaling operations. He brings a collaborative, pragmatic approach and enjoys partnering on finance, strategy, and transformation projects.
Outside of work, Jonathan lives in Mill Valley with his wife and two kids. He’s an avid trail runner, a not-quite-retired sailor, and enjoys coaching Little League baseball. He is open to collaborating on West Coast or remote-based opportunities, particularly those requiring calm leadership in complex environments.
