Mag. Manfred Schmidt is an implementation-focused strategy and operations consultant with 20+ years of international experience helping companies turn plans into measurable results. He has led major operational excellence and productivity improvement programs across the end-to-end value chain (sales, procurement, production, logistics and working capital), as well as restructuring/turnaround, post-merger integration, and the setup of effective controlling and performance management systems.
Manfred is the founder and managing partner of Bluespring Consulting and previously held senior roles at Czipin, and Proudfoot Consulting (London), working with clients across industries including industrials, automotive, machinery, retail, transport/logistics and financial services in Austria and internationally.
He holds a Business Administration degree from WU Vienna, completed executive studies at NHH Norway, and is a Certified Supervisory Expert. Based near Vienna, he enjoys collaborating on transformation and operational performance initiatives where clarity, speed and sustainable impact matter.
