Michael Rubenstein is a driven, corporate entrepreneur. He is a seasoned leader who has led North American and global businesses across several industries. He and his teams have developed strong cultures of customer experience and loyalty, innovation, operational excellence, talent development and ESG, matched with a strong performance ethos.
He is currently the President of Rubenstein& Advisory, a Board Observer for Vision Group, a leading North American vision care company, and an Advisory Board Member of Hyperion, an innovative sustainability company in the modular wood construction space. He was previously an Independent Director of Scotia Investments, overseeing seven companies in biomedical, energy, recycling and packaging.
Most recently he was Managing Director, Operational Partnerships for CDPQ Private Equity, the third largest PE group in the world. Prior he was President and CEO of Biomod, a biotech company in the skin care space. Previously he was COO of Magil Laurentian, a Montreal based, integrated real estate company.
Michael held senior leadership roles in the packaging industry including Chief Growth & Innovation Officer of Alcan Packaging, a $6.5B world leader in specialty packaging with 131 facilities and 29K team members in 31 countries. Prior, he was President of Allan’s Global Pharmaceutical Packaging group, a $1.1B organization, leading a team of 4,500 in 15 countries.
His extensive industry leadership experience with studies in Printing Technology at Rochester Institute of Technology, an immersion in World Class partnerships at Duke University. Michael holds an MBA and B.Comm in Management from Concordia University.
