Paul is a senior strategy advisor and former management consulting partner with deep expertise in life sciences, healthcare, and complex, regulated industries. He works with CEOs, executive teams, and investors to clarify strategic choices, design executable growth plans, and align organizations to deliver results in uncertain and rapidly changing environments.

Paul brings more than 20 years of experience advising Fortune 50 pharmaceutical and MedTech companies, private equity firms, and growth-stage businesses on corporate strategy, commercial strategy and transformation, portfolio prioritization, and organizational design. He is known for his ability to quickly diagnose root causes, integrate market, financial, and organizational perspectives, and help senior leaders make confident decisions under uncertainty.

Previously, Paul was a Managing Partner at ZS Associates where he founded their Healthcare Strategy Institute, focused on advising C-suite and EVP teams on enterprise-wide transformations. During this time, he generated over $75M in incremental consulting revenue, led large-scale organizational and commercial transformations, and helped shape industry thinking on data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and new operating models in healthcare.

Today, Paul conducts independent consulting projects advising biotech, pharmaceutical, and specialty manufacturing companies on go-to-market strategy, leadership and operating model design, global resource planning, and the pragmatic application of advanced analytics. He also serves on the advisory board of a healthcare-focused private equity firm and on multiple corporate and nonprofit boards.

Paul holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Statistical Thermodynamics, which underpins his analytical rigor and ability to rapidly master complex technical and business domains. Clients value him for clear thinking, intellectual honesty, and a bias toward action.
