Phil Large spent 25 years in banking as a transformational leader, building and leading strategy execution teams, developing and operationalizing new and enhanced risk management capabilities and turning around underperforming businesses and functions. He is passionate about challenging the status quo to solve problems, drive greater productivity and create sustainable value.
Phil has also led and supported several risk and regulatory programs at large and small financial institutions as an external advisor/independent consultant. He lives in Toronto, Ontario and can often be seen on the local roads and trails, training for his 41st marathon.
Phil is interested in leading or supporting projects that seek to build or transform risk and business capabilities, address new regulations and regulatory findings, tackle performance gaps, drive out inefficiency and otherwise create value.
