Rich St. Rose, President of Amelioration Incorporated, is a driven quality executive and business leader with proven expertise in strategic planning, operational readiness and business start-up and growth. He is adept at building, managing, training, coaching, and mentoring successful cross-functional teams, developing and executing Lean Six Sigma training/certification programs, and deploying corporate-wide Lean Six Sigma initiatives. Rich served as a United States Army officer for 10 years. He then transitioned to the civilian sector, working his way up the ranks within Fortune 500 Companies to include General Electric, Capital One, ADP, Intuitive Surgical and Campbell’s Soup Company. He has held the positions of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Quality Group Manager, Senior Consultant, Director of Continuous Improvement, President/CEO and Director of Operational Excellence within the civilian sector and several key roles within the military.

Rich graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace). He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado and a master’s degree in computer information systems from the University of Phoenix. The American Society for Quality (ASQ) has certified Rich as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has vetted him as an ASQConnEx Expert Lean Six Sigma trainer. Rich has also been previously certified by General Electric and ASQ as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional.

His career accomplishments include leading and managing cross-functional quality cluster teams spanning 15 global locations in six countries for General Electric, managing global quality operations for Capital One, starting-up and operating a commercial real estate firm, directing the continuous improvement operations for ADP, developing and implementing the LSS deployment strategy for Intuitive Surgical, deploying LSS for Campbell’s Soup Company and consulting to public, private and government organizations.
