Rosalie is a risk consultant, strategist, advisor & founder of Portecua Consulting, a Latina-owned boutique consulting firm that specializes in helping impact-driven brands strategically protect and scale their businesses by embedding a risk lens into their strategy, operational processes and large-scale initiatives.
Prior to launching her own business consulting firm, Rosalie spent several years managing risk and optimizing operations at a Fortune 500 global beauty company, working her way around the world and up the ladder to Director of Global Operational Excellence in internal audit, before bringing her expertise to build and lead the internal audit function at a fast growing NY based apparel startup. She has extensive experience in risk management, internal audit, operational excellence and transformation spanning across strategy, execution and reporting. Her career started in external audit as a Big Four accounting professional.
Throughout her life and career, she’s served her clients, stakeholders and community in English, Spanish and Portuguese. She is a CPA, CIA, and earned a dual degree from the University of California at Berkeley in Business Administration and Latin American Studies.
