Scott Smith worked for Ernst & Young for approximately 5 years in IT Advisory Services, IT Audit Support and Tax Technology. Later, he worked for approximately 2 years with Deloitte in Privacy & Security. Mr. Smith has excelled at interim executive roles since leaving mainstream consulting and organizing as an independent consultant. His first client was Invesco as a turn around CFO/CIO for a small hospital which Invesco had a financial interest in. Mr. Smith was able to turn the hospital around to profit within 6 months and was able to radically reshape the IT environment with grants from the Federal government.
Scott has also worked as an interim CISO and deputy CISO at Procter & Gamble, Werfen, Stanford Children’s Hospital (LPCHS) and Heico Companies. He also has worked on multiple large bank clients with respect to GRC (first line and second line) working to advise and remediate IT issues including consent orders, MRAs, NoDs.
