Stacy Proctor is a mission-driven People Partner and HR Advisor with more than 25 years of experience partnering with executives, leaders, and boards of purpose-driven organizations. She works with companies that aim to help either people or the planet—especially those navigating growth, transformation, or uncertainty. Stacy aligns people strategy, organizational culture, and the future of work with the business’s purpose.
Stacy specializes in solving the challenges that stall organizational success: disconnected people strategies, employee disengagement, leadership misalignment, and HR operations bogged down by inefficiency. At the same time, she guides organizations in adopting artificial intelligence without losing the human connection that inspires trust, creativity, and performance.
Throughout her career, Stacy has transformed HR functions into strategic engines of success. She has led organizations through restructures, reductions in force, and rapid growth while maintaining “Great Place to Work” cultures. Her leadership programs—such as Trust & Healthy Debate and Communicating in Uncertain Times—have equipped leaders and employees alike to thrive in change. She has also partnered with boards to strengthen governance, design compensation strategies, and build executive succession plans. Most recently, she has shared a playbook for implementing AI with organizations. The change leadership advice focuses on ensuring AI augments HI (human intelligence) to ensure HI exponentially adds value to the company’s purpose.
The cost of inaction is clear, and with Stacy’s guidance, organizations can achieve a stronger future: cultures built on trust, leaders aligned on vision, employees engaged at every level, and artificial intelligence deployed as a partner to human intelligence. The result is an organization where people and mission thrive side by side.
Stacy is also a mother, wife, sister, and daughter who cares deeply about educating the next generations. She resides in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently serves on the non-profit Board of Directors for the Alameda Education Foundation as well as the Encinal High School Boosters Club. She also volunteers regularly for the Scientific Adventure for Girls and the HR Strategy Forum.
