My background is in medical engineering later rounded up with an MBA and INSEAD international Marketing executive program – deployed in R&D, production, logistics, planning, regulatory affairs and quality assurance then (1995) transitioned to marketing and business development.
Since year 2000 I was deployed as General Manager and CEO six times – twice as a start-up co-founder with 3 exits. I also brought one Swiss biotechnology company on Frankfurt Stock Exchange through Reverse Take-over.
From 2005 on I’m operating with my own service company www.tagator.com and work on assignment / contract basis as an “executive-in-residence” assuming functions as CEO, COO, Head of Business Development, Key Account management or Head of BU or supporting fund raising, M&A, JV and technology assessment and due diligence processes.
I have spent 10 years as a Coach of the Swiss start-up program KTI/CTI – now called Innosuisse. Also, I’m now for the 5th year a pro-bono coach and judge for www.venture.ch – the largest Swiss start-up competition program.
