He spent 3 years with PwC Strategy&Deals in Singapore and has worked as an independent consultant since 2021, supporting leading firms including OC&C Strategy Consultants (Australia and the UK) and PwC Strategy&Deals (Singapore). His work includes commercial due diligence for private equity clients and strategic projects with corporates across sectors like technology, education, insurance, healthcare, fitness, retail, facilities management, and industrials. Vasant has worked extensively across Southeast Asian markets and Australia.
In addition to consulting, Vasant was recently a Partner at Rain Tree Roots Capital, a Thailand-based private asset management firm with US$30M in AUM. There, he focused on sourcing and supporting investments in startups and SMEs across technology, retail, hospitality, wellness, and healthcare.
