David has been consulting in the Human Capital space since 1998. From 1998 to 2010 he worked with some of the largest restaurant companies in the world, supporting their talent initiatives, strategy efforts, and vision articulation and implementation. From 2010 to 2016 he ran his own consulting firm where he added Executive Coaching and leadership development grounded in neuroscience to his core skillset and supported companies in Europe and the US. In 2016 he joined the Center for Creative Leadership where he became steeped in both Leadership Culture and Vertical Leadership Development, adding those content areas to his toolbox.
David joined Ruth’s Hospitality Group in 2019 as their Chief People Officer where he was directly responsible for all of the Human Capital efforts including HR, Talent Development, Succession Planning, Compliance, and Compensation. Leaving Ruth’s upon their acquisition in 2023, he has ramped up his consulting practice again and is available to support talent strategy, vertical leadership development, and leadership culture efforts as well as more traditional human capital initiatives. He lives in Colorado with his wife and 2 cats, and spends his spare time snowboarding and road biking.
